Color Study

I wasn't happy with the last elephant I posted, so I reworked him and added a background. I painted the background as a separate layer so I could move the characters around in photoshop. I had drawn some other kids to go into the illustration, but I kind of liked the tension between just the little boy and the elephant.

This is awesome Deb! I love this elephant, he is adorable. His expression is perfect too. Hahaha, I love how he is prepared with all the necessary "gear" to go swimming :o)

You've done a wonderful job with the characters consistency and the storytelling. Make me want to know more. :o)

I LOVE this. I've really enjoyed watching the story develop.
I'm impressed with how you were able to do a separate background so you could still manipulate the characters.
So happy to see you blogging again.
